CLUB OBJECTIVE

The Wantagh Bay Yacht Club, headquarted at the beautiful Nassau County Marina in Wantagh Park, was founded in 1991 to meet social and fraternal needs of all boaters who enjoy the waters of Long Islands South Shore.

The Club provides reciprocal privileges with over 500 Yacht Clubs throughout the United States and the Virgin Islands providing safe Harbor and use of facilities to our traveling members.

Through its group buying power, Club members can obtain discounts from local merchants, restaurants and marine services including fuel.

COMMUNITY SERVICE

Through sponsorship of the Wantagh Adopt-A-Park Association and affiliate with Kiwanis and others, the Wantagh Bay Yacht Club supports various community service activities. As a participating group of BOAT U.S. and cooperation with other clubs U.S. Power Squadron, U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, etc, Wantagh Bay Yacht Club is actively engaged in boating safety, environmental protection and advocacy of boater's issues at all levels.

JUST HAVIN' FUN

While the Wantagh Bay Yacht Club is involved in many issues, its primary purpose is and always will be to enhance the fun of boating through picnics, parties, cruises, flotillas, as well as just providing a place for members to get together for coffee and camaraderie.

Membership is and always will be a family affair and all spouses and dependent children are encouraed to participate.
